We see the vintage theme dressed in all sorts of palettes – pastels, brights, muted blues, and whites. Whether it’s a barn venue, vintage china, or traditional barrels and branches, the details define this theme!
Look & Feel
The “Rustic” theme has become more sophisticated over the past few years, and we it deserves a name to suit it’s grown-up style, so we call it “Vintage Elegant”
The overall look/feel of the Rustic (Vintage) Elegant wedding is romantic with a fun, casual, and very personal feeling throughout the entire wedding.
Flowers? Anything goes! Formal flowers like orchids or calla lilies are typically left out, so think roses, sunflowers, and natural “wildflower” feel.
Bouquets: Design is typically casual with an “open and free” feel, including vintage lace or burlap wrap.
Ceremony: Think natural – Birch arch, wooden doors, barrels, logs, and branches.
Centerpieces: Begin with a log slab or other rustic element, with miss-matched vases, glasses or jars to hold flowers, all lending to the casual feel. Add lanterns or mason jars to complete the look.
